About
Meet Chef Jaymie Hinton.

I'm Chef Jaymie, and food has always been my thing.
I started cooking around five years old, with my grandmother's sweet potato pie recipe. That pie was the beginning of a love that has followed me through every chapter of my life.
I took that love into the U.S. Navy, where I served as a Culinary Specialist, cooked for officers, and earned a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my work. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to cook for Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense, and a few celebrities, too. But whether I'm feeding someone famous or someone sitting at my kitchen table, I want them to feel cared for and leave satisfied.
For more than 20 years, I've built a career in food while also working in HR, business, and coaching. Those are skills I have. Cooking is my God-given talent. It's what I love, what people know me for, and what I always find my way back to.
Fun fact
My favorite food to cook is Filipino food. While stationed in San Diego, I learned from the Filipino shipmates I worked alongside. Those recipes and the memories behind them still have a place in my kitchen.
My friends don't just come over to visit. They ask, "What are you cooking?" Some show up with groceries like, "Here, you're making this." Apparently, my kitchen comes with an open invitation.
Today, I bring that same love to your weekly meals, catered celebrations, and personal chef experiences. Expect bold flavor, food made with care, and plenty of personality.
Come hungry. I'll handle the cooking.
